Last updated: 2026-10-01
We respect intellectual property. Security Training responds to notices that comply with the U.S. Digital Millennium Copyright Act (17 U.S.C. 512) and to equivalent notices under other laws.
C-1Sending a notice
Send notices through the contact form and choose the topic "Copyright notice". The form asks for each of these elements:
- Your physical or electronic signature.
- Identification of the copyrighted work you say is infringed.
- Identification of the material on this site and its URL.
- Your contact information.
- A statement that you believe in good faith the use is not authorized by the owner, its agent or the law.
- A statement that the notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are authorized to act for the owner.
C-2Counter-notification
If material you supplied was removed and you believe that was a mistake, send a counter-notification through the contact form containing:
- Your physical or electronic signature.
- Identification of the material removed and where it appeared.
- A statement under penalty of perjury that you believe in good faith it was removed by mistake or misidentification.
- Your name, address and telephone number, and your consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for your address (or, outside the United States, any judicial district where we may be found), and that you will accept service from the person who sent the notice.
The material may be restored after 10 to 14 business days unless the complainant tells us they have filed a court action.
C-3Misrepresentation
Under 17 U.S.C. 512(f), anyone who knowingly misrepresents that material infringes, or was removed by mistake, may be liable for damages.
C-4Repeat infringers
The site has no user uploads. If we ever publish contributed material, we will stop accepting it from contributors who repeatedly infringe.
C-5Forwarding notices
We may forward a notice or counter-notification to the party concerned.
