What cyber range and tabletop exercise platforms cost in 2026: every published price

5-1Why is pricing so rarely published?

Most vendors in this category sell to enterprises through a sales conversation, with prices that depend on the number of people, teams, exercises or products. That makes a published list price rare. Our Pricing criterion scores transparency, not cost: a vendor that publishes a price a buyer can budget against scores higher than one that does not. The figures below were read on the vendors' pricing pages on 27 September 2026 and are list prices, before tax and before any discount.

5-2What does Conducttr publish?

• Raven: £11,950 a year.
• Hawk: £16,465 a year.
• Osprey: £21,000 a year.
• Eagle: £25,725 a year.

Each is a team licence for up to 40 participants per session, priced in pounds excluding tax. Behavioural assessment is a separate Assessment Toolkit, from £4,536 a year. Larger exercises and Conducttr Local are priced on request. Conducttr is general crisis exercise software, not cyber-specific, and you design the exercises yourself.

5-3What does Hack The Box publish?

Hack The Box publishes its Professional business plan at $2,500 per seat per year, or $250 per seat per month. The Lite, Base and Ultimate plans are listed without prices, and Lite has a 14-day free trial. Crisis Control, the tabletop product, is not priced publicly.

Hack The Box also publishes prices for individuals, which are not business plans: HTB Academy certifications listed at $490 and $1,260, and HTB PRO, announced on 21 September 2026 at $49 a month or $490 a year.

5-4What about TryHackMe?

TryHackMe has a free tier and publishes paid plans for individuals. Business plans, including its tabletop exercises and SOC Simulator, go through sales. TryHackMe states that its tabletop exercises are 56% more affordable than the average consultancy tabletop exercise; that is the vendor's own claim, and it publishes no business price to check it against.

5-5Which vendors publish nothing?

Reflex Security, Immersive Labs, Cyberbit and iluminr publish no price on the pages we reviewed. Cyberbit has no pricing page, and sells Crisis Sim 360 only as an add-on to a Cyberbit Readiness plan, so an executive exercise comes with a range purchase. KnowBe4, which we list but do not score, shows no pricing on the pages we reviewed.

5-6What is the free baseline?

CISA's Tabletop Exercise Packages cost nothing. There are over 100 of them, each with objectives, scenarios, discussion questions, a slide deck, a feedback form and an after-action report template. They cost staff time instead: someone has to adapt the scenario, facilitate the session and write the report. Any paid platform should be judged by how much of that time it saves and how much better the evidence is.

5-7How do you get a comparable quote?

1. 01Write down the unit you want priced: seats, teams, exercises per year or participants per session.
2. 02Give every vendor the same brief: the audiences, the number of exercises a year, and whether executives take part.
3. 03Ask for the complete list of add-ons, such as crisis simulation, assessment or extra scenarios, in writing.
4. 04Ask what one extra exercise costs, so you can price a second or third session in the year.
5. 05Compare quotes in their own currency and unit; do not convert a per-seat price into a per-team one without the vendor confirming it.

The calculator shows annual costs for the two vendors that publish per-seat or per-licence prices, next to a re-weighted score. For the other five it says what is true: not published, contact sales.
